The concept of camlife masthead logo was a connection of individual letters, which suggest the connection of students in Ghana and outside Ghana. When there is no connection between students from one country to the other, it creates rigidity between international students and Ghanaian students.
The colour theme for the magazine includes pink represents the development among students in different stages, the show of compassion among students and the demonstration of unconditional love among students to create a learning environment. Yellow in the camlife magazine relates to the acquisition of knowledge and also demonstrate youthfulness. The Blue colour represents dependence among students, trust, self-confidence and loyalty between students.
The images in the magazine were taken personally and also some were monitored. I had to take several pictures at different location. Some of the images where not satisfactory so I have to take them again. It was a great experience. The male student image at the front and fashion spread, demonstrate the fashion taste and also to exhibit self-confident when you step out in style.
The concept of content page represents movements from one stage to the other in school. The personality page describes the designer. The boldness of the picture on the right side of the page represent the confident nature of the designer. The cooking tips page has to do with one of the local dishes in Ghana. The process was very tedious. Went to the market to purchase the ingredients. The cooking of the Red Red was supervised and monitored to create the desire result. The illustrations of the ingredients were to help someone in and outside Ghana to be able to cook it without struggling.
The style and concept of the magazine shows how students live in various campuses across the globe.
